On a Blender Bender


With latest WinX update I was finding that Gmax with FSX Gamepack is acting strange, so that prompted me to jump over to Blender since it seems Blender2FSX is pretty mature now.

After a few tutorials on CGCookie Ive been able to make a simple house model and export as an FSX MDL:

This is just a simple texture and geometry just to make sure MDL export is working. You can either have the export generate an MDL, or you can just export to .X file and use XtoMDL. I grabbed the XtoMDLUI at fsdeveloper for a nice GUI to run XtoMDL.
